I recently saw a true-crime documentary on HBO Max called "Alabama Snake"

We’ll, thank you for that hour and a half detour from my normal Friday night ritual of watching 20+ year old live concerts.

Late at night on a highway in Northern Ontario, a woman driving her car is reliieved to finally find a gas station that's still open, so she pulls in. The attendant comes out and walks up to the driver's side. He stands there, waiting until she rolls down her window. She slips it down just a crack.

That's an oldie but a goodie. There was a movie which depicted that story - saw it a while back and can't remember what it was called. It was on one of the horror anthology series from the 80's.

(frick just realized I responded to a post from 2013).

My Dad had a computer and loved to play games on it, most notably Spider Solitaire. He took his last breath on Feb 1st, 2006 in a hospital bed at Willis Knighton in Shreveport, close to the Fairgrounds and the original location of Southern Maid donuts. It was raining, seems cliche but it did feel comforting for some reason, like nature was weeping his loss as well. I returned to my childhood home in Minden where my mother still lives today. My Dad's desk and computer were in my old bedroom, so I browsed the internet briefly before going to bed. I shut everything down then went to sleep. In the middle of the night I was having a dream about my Dad and I woke up. The computer and monitor were on, and on the screen was an open game of Spider Solitaire. I thought maybe I had been playing that game and just left it on accidentally. But if that's the case the screen saver would have been on, not the game. I don't believe in ghosts or the paranormal, but I find it hard to deny that my Dad's spirit - or whatever it is that makes us more than flesh and bone - was in that house that night. He was telling me he loved me and goodbye.

There is this one that says, sometime in the future, a person won’t be able to buy or sell without a mark. The mark is a 666, and you will either have it one your forehead or your hand.
It’s pretty scary.

Yeah it was posted pretty early on IIRC.

I don’t have MJC’s YouTube link, but I hosted it on mine back when he was trying to figure it out: Broken arse Glass.

Trippy shite.

This is one of the GOAT threads the OT has ever seen.
