Something like this?

You know, I think that dreams have a Lot to do with things we don't fully understand, often being harbingers for events we don't know we should know, but we know.

And I think the lineage of the seers is one that is passed down through the bloodlines.
Do you have any idea if any other family members experienced similar things?

Pretty much.

Never thought to ask relatives is anyone else experienced it. Chalked it up to weirdness.

See if you can explain this one to me:

Lately, within the last six months, I've had a dream where I feel someone in the room with me and an invisible hand grabs mine as I'm sleeping.

I think it's a dream, because of the presence I feel in the room, and the hand grabbing mine, but I am in my bed, laying the same way I do when I shoot up from the dream.

ETA: Have had it about four times. Same dream, same circumstances. But now it's happened at my new place.

Hmmm, a few questions.

Which position are you sleeping in when this occurs?

Do you live alone?

Do you see a face in the dream, or merely feel a presence?

What else can you recall about the dream?

Novelty account?

Are your hands going numb in your sleep? Happens to me sometimes.

The week before 9/11 I dreamed I was on the Brooklyn bridge and I watched a plane hit the tower.
I told my mom and a few other people abou it bc I woke up so sad and upset.
Mom called me screaming a week later when it happened for real.

Kinda messed up, I can't think to hard ab it.

Now she asks me if I have any lotto number dreams

Laying on my left side, on left side of bed.

Just me and the dog. Dog has hopped off the bed everytime this occurs. Or I feel him jump off in the dream, and when i wake up he is laying on the ground.

No face, no body. Just feel the hand grab mine. Like it's trying to hold it.

Three times at the old place. One time at the new. The tv has the disc menu of the dvd I'm watching on, I can see that as I'm facing it. The dog starts off in the dream laying in his usual spot against my back. I feel the presence, then movement as if from the dog getting away from me and reach back to touch the dog for comfort, and instead of the dog, I feel the hand grasp mine.

That's when I wake up. Not a nice grasp either. Cold and hard.

Hmmmmm, if you were on your back, I might say it was the old hag...

If there were others in the house, I would attribute it to dream melding.

Now, do you hear anything when the entity grasps your hand?

Do you pull away?

I was in 8th grade at the time. My mother and her friends were/are full blown evangelists. Her close friend, a teacher of mine, was also the FCA sponsor at the time. We met every Wednesday morning at 7:30 in the middle school auditorium for prayer and worship. It all started off as a normal day with a short testimony and a few sing-alongs. Suddenly, out sponsor stormed in late looking a wreck. She interrupted our meeting scrambling to the front of the room trying to hold herself together. She paused for a minute to catch her breath. We didn't have much time left so she assured us that we would be admitted to class without a tardy if her time ran over. She began by apologizing for the weird story of a dream to follow. In her dream, she was lying in her bed and was awaken by loud rumbles outside. She jumped out of bed and ran outside to see what appeared to be hundreds of planes flying over bombing anything and everything. She couldn't tell where they were from or anything. This was enough to wake her up. Scared and out of breath she woke up late for work and rushed to be on her way. Now, however outlandish this lady might have been she had never told me any stories of any dreams in the 10-12 years I had known her. Like typical 8th graders we looked around at each other and chuckled and went on about our business like nothing had happened. About 8:15 that morning, there was a knock on the door to my first period algebra classroom. My history teacher stuck his head in the door and said, "the world trade center has been attacked".

No.

Try to. I pull my hand and it holds on.

Finally, I wake up.

Wouldn't give much thought to this normally, but the same dream has happened multiple times.

Kind of starting to freak me out.

Well since were on the subject of dreams, this might not be the best story but I remember it like it was yesterday.
One night I'm not sure why but I went to sleep wondering if God was in fact real. I must have been like 14 or 15 at the time but none the less for some reason I prayed to God asking him to send me some sort of sign that of him being real and present in our lives and what not. Now before I continue with the dream I had, I have heard that some people believe that a lot of the time you dream about whatever the last thing was that you were thinking about before you doze off. That could be the case here but who knows.
The Dream: So I remember I was in Galveston and we were down at my beach house with my family and everything. I was walking down the road to another beach house and when I got there I found a bunch of people surrounded around something. As I walked up to see what it was that they were looking at I saw my dad on the ground, dead, stuffed like a scarecrow with hay and everything coming out of his mouth. It was a normal dream up until that point and it scared the shite out of me. So I took off running aimlessly back down the road. For some reason as I was running down the road I looked back over my shoulder and I saw a man high up on the third floor deck of another beach house looking down over everything with a pair of binoculars.

After that I think I woke up but I can't really remember. But I guess I took that as a sign that the men high up on the deck with the binoculars was God looking down over all of us but who knows. At the time being that young it scared the shite out of me to the point where I still remember it today.

Next time, go with it.

Don't resist at all...In fact, if you can, try to lead it. The change might be enough to throw the entity off and give you more insight.
