I have 2 stories.
Once in HS I was out with a girl that I was dating, well there was a local rumor about an old Mansion that was haunted, the house dated back to the 1850s. She wanted to check it out and I went along with it, not really believing in anything supernatural at the time. Well we get in the house and get to looking around and go upstairs, well in the main upstairs hall I heard a loud noise, like someone stomping their foot by me. I thought maybe some plaster had fallen from the ceiling..I turned and nothing was there. She was standing next to me her right hand closest to me, holding a flashlight.
At the same time we both felt a hand grab our arms, out of mid air. She screamed..I turned and looked and nobody was there. We took off down the stairs..the door behind us slammed shut on its own. I've never in my life felt such fear
The next story is an old roommate of mines. I was with him at the time, stopping by his parents house to pick him up to go out to the bars. Well while there, his little niece about 2 years old is heard talking to someone. He walks back to her room and looks in..her covers in bed are tucked up to her chin (nobody had tucked her in yet and noway could she pull them up like that). He asks who was she talking to and she replies "I was talking to Meemaw Mary" (thats what they called their grandmother apparently). My friend turned white and started shaking.
I later asked him what that was about..he replied "Meemaw died 5 years ago, she wasn't even born then and has no idea about who she was or her name".
