Appreciate the actual conversation.

It is 100 meter depth. I normally do lake stuff more than diving in saltwater but do think the rubber gives it a different look all together. I honestly wouldn't be getting a second band (let alone a breitling name one) right now but certainly going to take them up on one for free.

Go with black rubber - any of the blue straps will severely limit what you can pull this off with. Not my cup of tea, but I appreciate the quality of the piece. Wear it in good health.

I won't do salt water with my watches. Just pool and lakes. Unless I were scuba diving (I don't) there is no point in putting a watch in saltwater.

Well no shite stout

I will say that on the arm does look different than on the site. But the purpose of this was to get people's thoughts on straps.

Don't get me wrong, I am envious you got a badass watch, but it wouldn't be my first choice. I am this close to buying the one I linked. I even enlisted the help of Broke to help me find something similar in another brand for less but none of the ones he found did "it" for me like the Avenger does.

I JIMP looking at it.

Wear the bracelet in summer and some type of strap in winter. NATO straps are nice because they are cheap, have a huge variety of colors and do not require the removal of the lug pins to change out. You will need a lug pin removal tool regardless.

I gotcha. When you are in the watch store ask to see the evo. It is a lower profile watch which is what I want. The digital isn't as profound as it is on the site either.

Then take a look at the "emergency". Dan Uggla's arms would look small with that thing on it.

Love that blackbird though. Not sure I could pull off the full on black though.

ETA:. Yeah I just checked. I couldn't pull off the 48mm face on the avenger. That is 5mm larger than mine. It does look low profile though.

Understandable. I'm just a poor lowly contractor and prefer that over something in stainless or gold because I don't dress up every day.

If anyone cares and doesn't already know there's a youtube channel that seems relevant to some of the concerns here: the urban gentry.

Guy is a watch enthusiast and discusses fashion with regard to watches etc.

I have 2 menial part time jobs but dress up almost daily. I can justify it and say I need to dress decent considering I'm actually selling myself but for the most part it's because I enjoy dressing nice.

I'd go with the black, no doubt.

Nylon or fabric? There is a second black nylon that has the breitling wording as well.

That link shows you all the options, i only put up a few. I have the blue face with lighter case.

Definitely go with the black. The blue will limit what you can wear it with.

I would go with the rubber/silicone. The canvas/fabric will start to stink after a while.

Nice watch.

I like the black diver strap. The blue straps seem a like a little too much blue going on with the blue dial. Good combo with the bracelet.
