Good news from the x rays. Nothing broken. Thanks everyone. We'll almost everyone. I know some of you you only post the mean crap you do because it's via keyboard.

The only reason that you could post something negative in a post about an injured 2 year old is because you're miserable. I hope your day/week/life gets better.

Who goes to the ER for a getting a 'smashed' hand from a door?

No wonder why the ER are so full and slow, when you got peeps like these going in there for the most retarded things. I bet all the kid needs is just some rest. What are the Drs going to do, give him some opiates for the pain? I know they got some oxycotin approved to kids, so maybe they can get him hooked this early.

Happy to hear nothing is broken and hope your kid is feeling better soon.

My father once slammed my sister's finger in the car door when she was about 4. My mom let her run out the kitchen door to kiss him goodbye (my brothers an I were all in the driveway playing basketball) and he didn't see her. He was distracted by trying to get us out of his way. He closed the door right as she got there and crushed the end of her pinkie. She had to go to the ER before a bunch of stitches, but she was eventually okay, although that pinkie is still ugly 40 years later. I don't think my poor father ever recovered!

becuase we are in Germany and the clinics are closed on Sunday. Landstuhl Medical Center on base was the only option unless we wanted to take him to a German ER.

Well ya see, when you break a bone, especially in your hand, sometimes there are corrective actions to take to insure everything heals as it's supposed to.

My kid is a bruiser and wrecks himself pretty regularly. He was squealing, his hand was purple, his knuckles were swollen, and he couldn't make a fist.

I know my kid better than so you frick off loser.

Let me slam your hand in a door and you'll have the same symptoms...

Still doesn't warrant a trip to the ER. It's a freaking hand injury man with no open wound to get infected. He's 2 not 80. He'll heal up like a champ and probably won't even remember it.
