Not talking about steroids.

Any of you OT workout baws get them? Best treatment short of going to a procto?

Asking for a friend...

Had a couple lumps down there around the holidays. That was the first time I had severe pain from them, they are usually just a nuisance. Prep H cooling gel was OK. One of my baws said he had a doc cinch them off. Um, I'll pass on that and tough it out for a few days.

Between this and the help me get out of child support thread, it's been a strong week for trashy thread titles.

You should ask a woman that has recently given birth.

I had them bad about a month ago - I was trying over the counter stuff and nothing was working. So I gave up and went to Dr. I asked him to cut them - he wouldn't. He prescribed some potent stuff that got the swelling down in a few days. I've been drinking fiber mix twice a day, prune juice. And no reading on the crapper.

Hit your junk with a dead blow hammer. All the bad stuff flies out of your ears. Science.

Start taking fiber supplements twice a day so that you never have to strain to poop.

Minimize the time you spend on the toilet pooping - no magazine reading or posting on TD when you are making a deposit in other words.

The creams and suppositories will help with the symptoms but you got to treat the root cause or they will come back.

If it's purely due to your weightlifting and not bowel habits then you will have to decide between serious strength training and health of your rectum most likely.

Bowel habits are good; no constipation.

No pain or swelling with the roids, just a ton of blood.

Fiber is very important

This is also very important

Also add pineapple to your diet. Raw pineapple and pineapple juice provides fiber and bromelain that help keep hemmoroids from flaring up.

Also, add yogurt to your diet . The probiotics helps with digestion and will lessen flare ups.

And when they do flare....use flushable wipes after taking a dump...you will thank me later.

Go see a specialist. External Hemorrhoids you can live with, but I think Internal Hemorrhoids can cause other more serious problems down the road.

Start eating an apple everyday, along with other fruits & veggies. This will make it easier on you when you go. Also don't use baby wipes or creams, this is only a temporary fix & doesn't cure the problem.

Be gentle with the TP and as previously stated, take care of your business & get off the pot.
Also dry the area with a blow dryer... low heat of course. When you shower, don't use a wash cloth, this aggravates things too.

Blow drying gets rid of moisture & moisture is the enemy.
I speak from experience!

How do you know you have roids? You might want to get the doctor to confirm that.

Been to a procto before and had confirmation.

Also, blood is bright red, and can feel where it is.
