Oh but they do. They don't give a shite about YOU necessarily, because again, you are no longer the victim. If what you believe is true and this is a nationwide ring of ne'er-do-wells, that means the big boy financial institutions are taking more of a financial loss than your measly (relatively speaking) 200 bucks. And THAT is what the Feds will actually care about.

that is a tough one...and unfortunately, there is not much that the legal system will do because he is likely a juvenile and the dollar value is low.
Unfortunately, I am vindictive as hell and would probably do something like taking him to small claims court just to get a judgement against him and also to get him and his parents some adverse publicity. That will entail some effort and expense on your part, though.
