no offense, but you are WAY overrating the STructure label. It was a cheese retail outlet of the 90's. Not altogether unlike Merry Go Round of the 80's.

sports2, what do you think of jos bank suits? they have a killer sale going on right now
Posted on 2/18/08 at 11:40 am to Sports2
You need some of those John Mahaffey leather jackets he'd wear on the air in the early 80's.Looked really good with a tie.

Great suits, go with the executive collection, 3 button as someone said earlier, blue pinstripe or all black. Full break with cuffs on the pants.
It will last you forever if you don't wear it as your only suit.
What is the need? How often will you wear it, what are you wearing it to?
If you want a more casual look, check out their Trio line, it's coat and two style of pants, don't know if they still do it, but for casual suit wearers it's a good deal.
You in BR? If so the guys that work there are gay, but they are good at their job of getting you in the right suit.
Expect to pay $350 for a good suit on sale.
Let me know if you have more questions.

its for a conference, but i will have other things to wear it to as well. weddings, job interviews, etc. but not like you having to wear it everyday though

these are originally 550 per the website, but the sale running through today they are 250

I just went on their website, go with the charcoal fancy plain, and the grey with tan stripe
LINK
If they have this, go for something like this, blue stripe.
Better choice, blue pin stripe

I am familiar enough with what they used to sell in Structure stores. Not particularly a fan though I'm sure some were a big fan of the banded collar look of the early 90's. Didn't they go out of business as far as their retail stores?
no structure was owned by the same company that owned express & bath & body works
they decided to make express a mens & womens store but still manufacture the clothing and use other reail centers for distribution

But outside of the quality of the suit, was it an off the rack purchase or did Sears have a 16 year old kid tailor you all up and send it out to be altered?
they do not offer tailors, but i don't use ANY tailor at ANY store where i buy any suit
i have my own tailor who has been tailoring my clothes for years...she tailors everything from my slacks from dillards to my seer sucker from perlis

how? they were one of the most popular mens clothing retail stores in just about any mall throughout the early-mid 90's and on par with what express is today (same company)...not quite black/white or banana republic, but not old navy or gadzooks either
i don't particulary like their clothes either...nor do i like express...and i don't think their suits are worth $200+..BUT if you find them on sale for $150 or under and find a style you like, they are most definitely worth it

Rubenstein's or anything else with a Jewish name.
