Ebay sells cheaper knockoff versions, no idea how well they work though.

I don't know about electronic but this guy does a great job on a lot of different kinds if you are in Baton Rouge.
American Key and Lock off College Drive by the railroad tracks. I'll never use the machine at Lowe's or Home Depot again.

Infinity dealer wanted 250 for keys, plus another 150-200 in labor for my qx.
These guys gave me oem keys and programmed them to my car for 150 all in.

I picked up a couple of replacements off of Amazon for about $20 and had a locksmith program them. Got the family rate for the locksmith so I don’t know what they would normally charge, but it’s bound to be cheaper than the dealership.

Certain it's not just a battery replacement needed?

Dunno your situation but if you still have the key and the buttons are worn out or the plastic is broken. They sell new plastic FOB bodies that are an exact swap out of your OEM electronics

Where would I find this?

Check to see if there’s a chip in the old key housing. My older accord has then and although the replacement keys are available for cheap, they do not have the chip. If you open your key housing, the chip is in an enclosed part that can not easily be accessed.

Just need an additional key. Problem I found with another Honda with similar key was buying off ebay, that the dealer won't cut the actual "key" part unless you provide a dealer receipt. The electronic keys have an actual metal key like a traditional key. Not sure other people can cut those can they?
