How does bolting the safe to the floor prevent that from happening?

it will not prevent them from drilling, which would not be the preferred way to breech a safe, once the safe is on its side it is much easier to breech, securing it to the ground and walls slows this option down

pry it open in less than 2 minutes

This is why it's important to do your research and buy the best safe that has heavy duty locking lugs on 3 or 4 sides, not just 1 side

I have big one in my office and small one at my house.

I'm actually looking for a bigger one for my house that I can keep a few long barrel guns as well as documents and valuables.

In LA, Rolland Lock and Safe has the legit safest. They do most of the vaults around New Orleans

Weighs 2000 lbs. I guess I could put it upstairs and it would take a small army to get it out

I don't know how big of a hurry you are in but if you can find a bank or a store closing you can probably get a waaaaaay better safe than you normally would for waaaay less. (I'm talking about the safes they use, not some merchandise they have.)

Well yeah the cheap ones. I wasnt talking about cracking them after like on TV though

Just big old holes or torches. Seen it done a few. Unfortunately we had to have one our office safe cracked open a few years back after the biometric went bad. $6k safe down the drain because the owner decided to buy a cheaper biometric combo

I actually saw a video the other day where a teenager and his friends accidentally locked himself in a safe at Walmart. It was pretty funny the kid was also videoing himself inside of the safe, I was surprised how calm he stayed.

I'm sure it gets less funny when nature calls.

This is important, get educated on how safes are rated, make sure it is fire rated for the type material being stored, a safe used for digital media storage must have a much better fire rating than one just storing paper.
Most of the so called "gun safes" are not safes, and are classified only as "residential storage containers", and as shown can be easily opened, even many of the models sold by popular Liberty Safe Co..
