Fred's is a pretty good spot for what you're looking for.

The now-vacated Toys R Us property on Siegen should work for you. Just set up a couple tables for a DJ and caterers and you got yourself a venue.

The Faculty Club at LSU used to be really nice for events. Don’t know if it still is. But, worth checking it out, unless the event is on a home game day.

The Marriot on Hilton Dr. has pretty good facilities.
Drusilla Seafood.
Hilton downtown.

They aren’t that unique, I guess. Burden would be.

Lod Cook on campus can handle that too.

Seriously, contact the Old State Capitol. Tell them I referred you. They check off everything on your list.

Doesn’t ruffino’s own a place down town? i thought it was ruffino’s but may be another restaurant. The place had phenomenal food, plenty of space for a band, and was very nice for a company function with about 200+ people
