Done and done. Though, the egrets nearly stole my vote.
They got mine. OP's pic is cool but the HDR effect is overbearing and gimmicky.

Done.
You're at 37% and tied with some dick from Iowa.

Awesome picture. Outdoor photography is something that I would love to get into. What type of equipment did you use on that picture?

This shot was taken with a Nikon D780 and a 24-120mm lens.
I also shoot with the following:
Nikon D500 with a 200-500 mm lens (mostly wildlife, but some landscapes)…this set up works great for fast moving animal like birds in flight. (Most of the wildlife shots I posted on page 2 or three were taken with this set up….except the elk in with the mountain background)
Nikon D850 with either the 24-120mm lens or the 200-500. (I’ll use this for wildlife and landscapes—-the elk with the mountains in the background was taken with this camera and the 24-120 lens)
I considering getting the Nikon Z-9 mirrorless, but it’s at least a 6month wait from most places

Last bump (until the contest winner is announced)
Update: As of lunch I had started to pull away in the voting and was up by four or five points. Then the OT and Outdoor Board either crashed the results page, or they took it down for some reason.
You can still vote (if you voted today you can vote again 24 hours from whatever time you voted).. The voting will last until Friday at 11:58pm eastern time.
The contest winner will be announced on October 18th, so I'll come back and post an update once I get the results.
Thanks again everyone for the help!
