Backstory: I have secured a judgement against someone and he continues to maintain he is unemployed however based on his lifestyle he definitely has income. I have his SSN so is there anyway to find out his place of employment?

Ask your attorney about enforcing the judgment via debtor judgment rule.

How have you attempted to serve him? (not you personally, but your attorney)

Does he have FB? if so then dig around a little and even take screenshots if he is talking about money, working, buying stuff, etc. What does he claim to own?

I guess that would be a start. that is something you can do to be able to hand to a PI if you have to get one because you font want to pay top rate for him to find out what you can find for free.

Even is he claims to be broke the court can still put him on a payment plan and he will have to write that check every month to you.

i had to sue an old landlord who claimed poverty. Judge STILL made his azz pay me my money over a year. I had a glorious year of getting money and knowing how it killed him to write that check each time. Oh how it killed him. I slaughtered his arse in small claims court and destroyed all if his lies with the truth and proof i found.

not to bum you out but I had several judgements against people for lack of payment for services rendered and to tell you it was exhausting tracking down people who owe you money is a understatement. Even with a judgement.

Better yet, is he single and likely to fall for a lil catfishing scam? Pose as a hot chick, make a date to get freaky and then when he shows, have the process server there.

Quick thread detour (not quite a hijack)...

Does the sheriff's office prioritize serving based on "severity" or do they more or less go in chronological order (on first attempt, anyhow)?

When does a private service company generally require payment for the service provided? Up front? Upon completion of service? 50% up front?
