Need Audible Book Recommendations

I listen to a lot of books.
I tend to like long epic style novels or series. My favorite genre is historical fiction, especially when dealing with war, spying or the old west.
Some of my favorites have been the Jeff and Michael Shaara novels, Lonesome Dove series and the Bernie Gunther WW2 series.
Thanks in advance for any recommendations.

Can I move you toward a little sci-fi dealing with war and spying?
And mainly b/c of the narrator. Tim Gerard Reynolds is my favorite narrator on Audible, and he does a great job with the Red Rising series.
All my other suggestions are more high fantasy and would be a bigger departure from your normal stuff.

A Song of Ice and Fire ready by Roy Dotrice is pretty epic. Even if you have read the books, I would still recommend these.
And the next book in the series will be release in 1 to 12 years. :/

Check out Dirk Pitt.
As far as Audible, I've really enjoyed the Monster Hunter International series.

I would 2nd that as well, or anything from Cussler.. I've never heard any of them narrated, but the stories are always good.

Officer and a Spy is historical fiction about the Dreyfus affair. I listened to it on Audible and really enjoyed it.

"American Gods" is great on Audible. It's the 10th anniversary edition I think.

Check out David Baldacci, specifically the Camel Club series. His books are typically read by Ron McClarty who does a great job.

The Aubry/Maturin series by Patrick O'Brian (Master and Commander is the first book of 20). I've listened to each several times.
I'll second American Gods - really well done audio book. Neverwhere is also very well done with the voice narrations. Both by Neil Gaiman.
No Country for Old Men is probably my favorite audio book. I've listened to it many times.

Riyria Revelations was a lot of fun to listen to. 6 books in the original series but the first book of the second series based in the same world just came out

Contact was really good. Book is quite different from the movie.
