My dad wouldn’t go to a chiropractor. Because

Grace Family Chiropractic in Prairieville.

Before I started going there a few years ago, Dr. Lee was in Africa doing charity work by giving chiropractic services to children, some as young as infants.

She runs a special every month where you can get an X-ray, adjustment, and plan all for like $80-$100 (she won’t adjust you without doing an X-ray and studying what you do and do not need.

I’ve recommended her to some people I know personally, and they’re various issues were minimalized or completely healed.

Did you ever think about fixing the cause of your problems vs a few years of alleviating symptoms?

Yeah I don’t agree with the fact chiros can practice on infants

And yeah I agree

Sounds like he needs to see a neurologist who can recommend a legit chiro

Over a decade of physical therapy, home remedies, doctor’s visits / x-rays, etc. Yes, going to a chiropractor was the last on my list, and it should have been the first. I have seen physical changes in my spine and posture that have fixed some of my issues, not just alleviated them.

Before you go scorched earth on the idea of adjustments being done to infants, you should probably hear more on the need of it to be done, especially in third world, sub-medical locations.

I think many chiropractors are good

But manual adjustments on an infants, regardless of the professional just weirds me out. I know I wouldn’t lose my license over it

I'm glad it's worked out for you. I just know many times, PT's, doctors, fix the cause but it takes a willingness of a patient to change some type of behavior. Most humans are lazy or creatures of habit and do not change. So it's easier to get a temporary fix.

I don't need to hear about the need for chiro adjustments on infants just like I don't need to hear about my kid's ex dentist that wanted to give my daughter anesthesia to get a couple of fillings.

I don’t know why y’all put such faith in pt’s. Like every 23 year old chick on bumble wants to be a pt, pa, or ot (whatever that is)

I know at the chiro school in Pineville they make you beat the arm wrestling machine on “macho” before you can go to second year

My cousin got an adjustment at one of those Chinese places and the sheriff busted in. Picture in the paper and everything. It’s time we stopped demonizing pain sufferers

I would do the "Basic Stretch" for about 10 straight hours on a hard surface 1 or 2 times a week when I was in undergrad.

It's probably one of the reasons that I don't have any issues with back pain.
