Insurance says I have to put down a primary care doctor.

Need some rec's for one in the mandeville/madisonville/Covington/abita area.

Don't really care of its male/female, don't like to wait so one that values my time as well as theirs.

I havent been to the doctor in like 8 years, so I guess I'm healthy.

Not a smart thing to do, it's good to go at least once a year to see about things you can't see without a doctor.

...Incubation period can be 7 years.

I've been satisfied with my doctor at the Ochsner Clinic in Covington, just north if I-12 on Hwy 21.

I've never had a long wait and am happy with the care I've been given in all my visits.

My PCP is Dr. Troy Davis but all of the family/general practice doctors are great there.

Same. I see Dr. James Fitzpatrick.

Please do not make this assumption. The thing primary care is good for is finding problems that kill/debilitate 10-15 years from now in people who feel fine. If you're young, appropriate weight, and active, once every 2-3 years is probably fine. 8 years is a bit on the long side. It's not urgent that you go in the next week or month even, but one bright spot of the ACA is that a once-annual no-copay preventative encounter is low-to-no cost for essentially everyone. I would take advantage of it!

Fiancée (has no soul, doesn't show up in pictures) did some work with Dr. Nathalie Mascherpa-Kerkow (goes by Dr Kirk-ow) and enjoyed her time in that office a lot.

Dr Linda Keefer.

In addition to her MD she also has a PhD in biological chemistry. She is brilliant.
