Neither

Past tense so it’s.

“Had been”

However, I went to East St. John, so take my answer w/ a grain of salt.

Secrets is the subject to me. Or is it the object of the prepositional phrase? That makes all of the difference.

Seems like it's present tense, since it was just revealed.

Then it would be “had been”. If subject is a Singular noun.

has

The subject of your sentence is "one", so the corresponding verb is "has"

False.

"I feel like one of life's secrets ..."

Feel is not past tense.
Felt would be past tense.

ETA:
Forgot about past participle...guess both would be acceptable.

If you regularly post from a PC, you can download a Chrome plugin called Grammarly. It will offer suggestions and underline mis spellings. There are paid versions for more details, but it is mainly free for basic stuff.

Should be “as if” rather than “like”.

Only one secret was revealed. Singular. Just because “secrets” is closer to the verb, doesn’t mean it is the subject.
