Disgusting how the Catholic Church has systematically covered up the rampant sexual abuse of children.

What would Jesus do

Not frick kids, for starters.

Idk though, I'm not a theologian. But I feel pretty confident he would neither participate in, condone, nor cover up the fricking of kids.

Definitely limited to Catholics. Oh wait, it's only cool to rip the Catholic Church. Sorry, I forgot.

There's a teacher, lawyer, and priest on a plane with three children...
The plane begins go down. There are only 3 parachutes.
The teacher screams, "Save the children!" The lawyer yells, "Frick the children!" The priest asks, "Do we have time?"

Based on all the threads on the OT, I think the teacher would say let's eph the children.

The difference is with the Catholic Church, you have a global organization involved in a mass cover up. These small Baptist churches are small and independent.

Hahaha. Your hipocrisy truly knows no bounds, Honk. The Baptist church is the one with the coverup. They have lots of claims filed against them, but it never reaches the media. I suppose by your logic it is okay if you are a small independent organization? Got it. Good to know. Not to mention that Protestant claims are probably equal to Catholic claims on a person by person basis. Then again, it's only cool to rip the Catholic Church.

You do know that you can be a homosexual and still wait until the person is of age before you drive up the exit ramp, right?

Catholics too busy flocking to their mega churches instead of pressuring the church to root this problem out

Like the other poster said, give us some links to articles about the worldwide cover up of sexual abuse orchestrated at the highest levels of the Baptist church, and you will have a point. links describing how the church shuffled ministers to new areas in a effort to hide abuse, or spent hundreds of millions of dollars of the churches money to keep victims from seeking criminal prosecution. When you can do that we will quit being critical of the Catholic church. Wonder how those Catholics felt when the money they donated to the church for what they believed would be humanitarian causes was used to protect abusive priests? The most disturbing thing about the Catholic cover up is that what is known publicly is just the tip of the iceberg, thousands of cases are not pursued because the victims do not want to expose their family to the turmoil.

A priest who doesn't take a stand on this and just buries his head in the sand is not a "good priest"
