Someone should sue Google so they drop the maps app

What? Their maps app is the GOAT as far as I'm concerned.

outside of arnaudville at night, googlemaps took me down McVeigh Rd., as the fastest way to get back to I 10. apparently, McVeigh Rd. is the washboardlike, 20 mph, driveway through 4 miles of McVeigh sugar cane fields.

Had me go on this side road coming back from the Grand Canyon. Turned out to be a powerline trail on an Indian reservation. I slung that Indian mud 30ft in the air for must've been five miles before getting back onto the main road. Brought the Indian mud all of the way back to New Orleans. It was grand.

Eta: God damn campers were going like 20 in a 55, so I detoured. I knew it was a powerline trail, because I looked at the road before I drove on it

With your waistline, the natives probably thought you were one of them.

Took GPS route in Wyoming trying to get up to Devils Tower. It was quickest and straightest shot on the map and coming from a main highway. Looked normal at first glance.

Highway turned into road which later turned into dirt road and several miles later I was driving through what the signs said were “Open Range”. I had to slow and stop 3 times along the way for large groups of cattle blocking up the road. I had to slowly crawl by and keep tapping the horn on the middle stubborn group.

It actually made it a fun unique drive. But damn, I was not expecting that turn of events at the time
