Premier League, KBO, Japanese Leagues, Nascar, and Golf coming back before MLB is just fricking sad

July 31?
They will get two weeks of people giving a frick about them before football starts
I love the nba playoffs but will give zero fricks between start of football and hunting season

Yeah, what's the point? Just scrap the season and start fresh next year.

They’re not just going to show up in Orlando and play. They’ll probably have a training camp in their respective markets in June/July before playing actual games.

I just want to gamble on something

They needed to start July 1 and try to end by mid September

Injury wise alone, they can’t just show up and play. Have to get in true game condition.
Only sport you can just show up and play is Braxton throwing 120 pitches on the weekend for travel baseball:

Two full months to get ready seems very extreme

I’m guessing they think 2 months from now they’ll be allowed to have more fans in the stands

Yeah, obviously a part of that is more delay for Covid.....even though you aren’t at more risk now than 2 months from now.

He is saying MLB bleeding into football season kills it, which is true

It’s gonna be in Orlando most likely and not the league cities

Good luck competing with NFL

I think it’d be incredible if they played in a very small gym and had an uncensored/commentator-free feed on ESPN 3 or something

They need a few weeks of training camp to get players back into game shape. Realistically could be a July 1 start date but they're probably pushing back a few more weeks thinking it gives them a better shot of possibly having games with fans in attendance.
