Jeannot Franco Plessy, 49, was pulled from her own car and thrown to the ground while she was outside her daughter’s home on Nov. 27. Her son-in-law tried to stop the carjacking, but the teens reversed the car and ran over Plessy. She died later that night from blunt force trauma.

Crushed her with the car during carjacking

and yet many in NO think we have too many incarcerated... I wager all 3 suspects should have already been removed from walking freely among us

Yeah, I'm worried that charge won't stick. I'm not a lawyer, but isn't malicious intent a required component of a murder charge? It seems like a good defense attorney would argue that her death was an accident.

Yep. Plus now need only 1 juror to not get murder conviction.

And there are plenty morons in the NOLA jury pool.

Does it being the pastor's wife make the murder worse?

Good thing you aren't a lawyer, they were in commission of a violent felony, it will stick

IDK if it is, but I hope murder in commission of carjacking is a capital crime, not that they will be executed anytime soon, but having to sit for 30 years in that hot squalid death row would be well deserved
