Natural Gas Line Explosion - Port O'Connor, TX - GIWW Closed to Navigation MM 470--472

Last night around 22:00. Didn't see anything here.
USCG reports that a dredge has struck a natural gas pipeline in the Matagorda Bay / Port O’Connor Jetties and has exploded . The USCG is currently enroute and will update as soon as possible. Reportedly gas continues to leak from pipeline and is burning.
GIWW is CLOSED to navigation until further notice MM 470-472 WHL. Mariners are advised to hold up at Martin Midstream on Port O’Connor side or 455 moorings on Matagorda side.
This is a rapidly evolving situation. Anticipate additional waterways update from USCG as situation is further evaluated.
