About to build $30M huge trailer part out there; good ole redneck fun

I should prob add that the developers normally sell out their “initial development”
to dsld once infrastructure completed, so there’s that.

Magnolia Grill is good. Under the hill saloon is a good place for drinks. The castle restaurant at the Dunleith was superb. A carriage ride through the city is a good way to learn some of its history.

The city is walkable, nice people, & good for a weekend.

My wife and I go to the brewery and walk around once a month or so. Beats going to baton rouge.

Decent one day/night visit, but not to live there. Poverty abounds. Roux 61 has a mighty fine Shrimp Po boy.

South Mississippi Delta. Wilkinson County, Adams County, Jefferson County and Claiborne County. Vidaila across the river. Good luck.

We went in the fall last year during the ballon fest and it was nice!

But Casino sucks. Don’t go there.

The Natchez trace begins there. You can get onto it, enjoy the view of nature and wildlife, then get off on I55 and head north to Desoto County to live.

Stay at Grand Hotel with a river view & walk everywhere from there. Eat dinner at Pearl St Pasta & go Under the Hill for a nightcap. Have coffee the next morning at the Steampunk. Hit the road by checkout time.

It’s a resort style campground. DSL is in the campground business?

Museum City, more like.

Cool to visit but living there would be painful.

Healthcare is a trip away to BR or Jackson

The public schools are abysmal, the private schools ain’t great.

The City and County governments are not getting better, they’re getting the opposite of better.

If you choose to buy an old house in the historic district, they are zealots as to historical preservation. That rhymes with “expensive” to do anything to your property.

But architecturally and historically it’s stunning.

I’ve got friends who have homes there, that’s the right way to visit Natchez.

Cool historic town. Has a lot of potential. I've always thought what holds it back is the lack of a university. No reason for young people to be there and set down roots. Same goes for Vicksburg.
