The whole Houston Lake Corridor from Perry to Warner Robins is neighborhood after neighborhood. Have check with friends and they are in the clear but not sure of damage at this point

Good sign. It appeared to peak just west of I-75 on radar so maybe the timing was good for that area.

Everything for the most part west of 75 is farm land and once you cross the interstate it is populated subdivisions so we definitely dodged a bullet.

Another one confirmed on the ground near Eglin AFB Florida...

At 433 PM CST, a confirmed tornado was located near Eglin Air Force
Base, or 7 miles southwest of De Funiak Springs, moving east at 55
mph.

HAZARD...Damaging tornado.

SOURCE...Radar confirmed tornado.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.

This tornado will be near...
De Funiak Springs around 440 PM CST.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include
Hinsons Crossroads, Red Bay, Douglass Crossroad, Alpine Heights, Live
Oak, De Funiak Spring Airport, Rock Hill, Eucheeanna, Millers Ferry
and Pleasant Ridge.

Live video of damage from Beauregard area of Lee County, AL. The damage is pretty catastrophic:

Based on this video, and I say this as someone who is not a meteorologist, this looks to have been at least an EF-3 and more likely an EF-4 tornado.

Strange weather for SC. Not used to multiple tornado warnings unless its with a hurricane. Especially this early in the year. Usually the fronts weaken by the time they get through Alabama/Georgia.

Saw a report that at least one fatality was a child. I couldn't even imagine
