Careful errybody . I survived a direct hit deadly high F4 and they scare the crap out of me.
I've always had a very healthy respect for tornadoes... they always scare the bejesus out of me
I was way too close to the Alexandria/Pineville tornado last year

Butler, Ga. has a tornado to the north and a tornado to the south
that city's splitting the difference

I think they underestimated this outbreak. That yellow marginal area should have been changed to red.

Models weren't overly worrisome and this setup didn't scream "outbreak" for this time of year. Highlights how much we still don't know about forecasting tornadoes.

That's not how the risk categories work.
Dark green - marginal
Yellow - slight (standard level risk)
Orange - enhanced
Red - moderate
Pink/Purple - High
There probably should be a moderate risk within the orange enhanced risk area, but this system has performed beyond what everyone really expected.

Would be nice if the KJGX radar was operational.

And both of the storms that went through Lee County and into Georgia are no longer tornado warned.

Been just watching south Louisiana today, and looks like it missed a whole lot up north east of here.

Not confirmed, but I am reading some stuff about there being multiple fatalities in Lee County, AL.

Two fatalities in Beauregard per Spann.

spc has been irritating me lately
they issued a moderate risk a few weeks back for hardly anything, now we have a small tornado outbreak and it's only an enhanced risk

Just talked to a friend in Smiths Station. He said they are all ok but I’ve got to find about the folks in Beauregard. There were 2 fatalities there. We are just about in the clear now.
