Well in that case it sounds like he was looking for trouble and found it.
BUT that doesn't excuse what was done. There is a difference in a scuffle and the sort of beating shown in the video

That first little skinny dude sure didn't look like he deserved to get knocked down, then kicked in the head as he was dazed. He looked to be trying to calm things down and wasn't in any posture to fight. He got decked, and was simply lying on the ground dazed when the next guy curb stomped his skull. That infuriated me I think worse than the other one.

Yeah from his body language it looked like he was trying to be a peacekeeper. And then one guy swung on him, then the second guy swung on him, knocked him down, then kicked him square in the face.
If im that kid im 100% suing.

If so, and he swung on someone, then they definitely were well within their right to retaliate/defend themselves.
But that video wasn't folks defending themselves. There was also the dude in the purple shirt who didn't seem to be picking fights just laying on the ground then being laid out.
I'd have no issues with them being prosecuted to the fullest extent, even if attempted manslaughter(is that even a thing, i don't even know lol), but I don't really see how it's not.

This is a very easy investigation for police. All they have to do is get security footage from JL's and Mike's and they will have clear pictures of each of these guys in the bar. We are talking about BRPD, though...

And if I'm the police, I'm filing some type of assault charges and locking both of them up immediately. Let Daddy bail them out and pay to get an attorney to defend the criminal charges, and let the thugs sweat it out.

I bet if they're able to identify and talk to maybe one or two of them they'll start singing. As hard as they might think they are, they're going to start naming everyone to try and save their own arse.

Yea - I mean it would seem that some of this could go as far as attempted murder charges. That shite was vicious.

Most of these kids are from the Nola area so they all have to know someone involved. It will spread pretty quickly once the authorities get involved. They can put up a wanted picture asking for tips and they'll have names in an hour. They aren't that smart or efficient though.

What's weird is that there didn't seem to be any cops anywhere closeby? I picked up a friend of mine from Tigerland about a year ago on a Wednesday night I think and there was at least 3-4 police cruisers just chillin in the median between Reggies/Freds and JLs

Not many outside of Louisiana have 18+ bars. I think it's a safe assumption that most involved in those videos are under 21
