When in doubt, follow the money. And the money (and V-shaped recovery) is saying clear and emphatically that “muh second wave” is political bullshite.
Afraid you’re going to need a new calamity soon, America haters.

Some tech stock(and Tesla) valuations concern me.
shite, musk himself says Tesla way overvalued.
I'm not saying I'm not happy with my portfolio recovering, and I am upping contributions.
However, ppl are just pouring money into them. With no understanding how company earns, what it earns etc.
People are actually doing margin trading on Robinhood etc.
This could really become an issue when it crashes.

Tens of millions of people out of jobs and small businesses getting crushed but we're gonna pretend the economy is going to be ok because the nasdaq had a good day?

It’s not just one good day. It’s at an all time high. Big difference.

Yeah, there should probably be a board on TD to cover the economy.

I won't pretend to be remotely an expert in the economy but....
Count me in as skeptical.

In a time where literally everything is negative, we're going to shite on something that is actually positive? Damn, OT.

What it says is that the government is capable of printing enough money to prop up the stock market, even in rough economic times. The millennials get to pay for all the new debt.

No. It’s saying the Fed has provided a floor and has no intentions of raising interest rates. The Nasdaq is not reflective of the economy.

With all the shite that 2020 has given us, the firm belief that the Fed will always be there to bail out businesses, basically removing a lot of risk, will leave one of the most lasting legacies (and not in a good way).
The markets, given this knowledge, are now permanently disconnected from the true economy.

I'm not against printing money in times of crisis or in a situation where the government forced shutdowns... this virus has presented both. I have a problem with the decades of deficit spending and money printing before the virus. Our leaders have not left us well equipped for an emergency
