It Is like any business which is what you can do for me today as far as drivers go.
They have x amount of 4 wheel billboards.
Once that car loses money the driver is gone.
If he does not win he is gone BLM or not unless they prop him up financially.
It is all about sponsors and money.
The sponsors pay to get infront of millions of people.
The sponsors want fans in the stands and watching on TV or internet.
They want winners not losers.

Except for the fact that NASCAR doesn't technically own all the tracks. They own about half the tracks on the circuit but others are either owned by Bruton Smith (SMI: Charlotte, Atlanta, Bristol, Vegas, Texas, Kentucky, New Hampshire and Sonoma from what I remember) or are Independently owned (Indy, Pocono, Dover). That constitutes 16 of the 36 races on the schedule.
Now given I'm sure NASCAR could try to strong arm those tracks into banning Confederate Flags from the infields. With that said you'll still have a bunch of Confederate Flags in the campgrounds surrounding the speedway. That's private property and NASCAR can't do a thing about those. With that said like others have said it's not like NASCAR has to worry about many fans anymore.
