Nascar will lose their fanbase.

NASCAR creating their own speedy demise to appease people that will never watch the sport always makes me laugh.
That’s likely because the little following they do have is too stupid and illiterate to realize otherwise.

No they are probably still watching it out of love for the sport, despite the leadership.

NASCAR has committed itself to building a new fanbase out of younger generations. Its actions have shown this in the last few years. NASCAR also announced a partnership with a North Carolina LGBTQ organization yesterday. That kind of thing appeals to younger people. NASCAR is willing to lose its old fanbase, because in NASCAR's eyes that fanbase was dying off, anyway.
I don't care for the direction NASCAR has taken on many issues or their alienation of their traditional fanbase, but they don't really care about that fanbase anymore.

No, it doesn't. It appeals to purple-haired liberal arts majors who are never, ever going to watch NASCAR.

As they should. Every year it’s some bullshite meme driver that tries to go viral and they wonder why nobody takes them serious. Putting a stop to this now is good if they ever have hopes of trying to catch F1.

The fan base that’s been causing them to tarp giant sections of every track before any of this happened? Lmfao ok.

This week's example of NASCAR turning it's back on it's core audience.

They forgot who their audience is about 20 years ago.

No
The fanbase that they have priced out of attending races by raising ticket and concession prices is causing them to tarp giant sections of every track.
Wokeness doesn't help things either.
