Search for “NASA” and you’ll see a YouTube link…were a couple of minutes away from splashdown

The parachute deployments were both impressive as all get out AND beautiful.

I wish my late college roommate (an aerospace engineer who worked at Huntsville in work study) had lived long enough to watch this one.

We saw one come in while staying in Gulf Shores a few years ago. Was supposed to land in the Atlantic, but choppy seas forced them to change to the Gulf. It came from the soutwest approximately over the last production platform south of Mobile.
