Not yet but it’s coming.

The first-ever off-Earth helicopter just hooked up with its traveling companion.
Engineers at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) in Pasadena, California, attached the tiny Mars Helicopter to the agency's car-size Mars 2020 rover today (Aug. 28), agency officials announced.
The duo will launch together in July 2020 and touch down inside the Red Planet's Jezero Crater in February 2021. Once on Mars, the solar-powered, 4-lb. (1.8 kilograms) helicopter will detach and begin flying test sorties.

The Mars Helicopter Scout (MHS) is a planned robotic helicopter that will test the technology to scout interesting targets for study on Mars, and help plan the best driving route for future Mars rovers.[6][7]
The small drone helicopter will be deployed in 2021 from the planned Perseverance rover as part of the Mars 2020 mission. It is expected to fly up to five times during its 30-day test campaign, early in the rover's mission, as it is primarily a technology demonstration.[1] Each flight will take no more than 3 minutes, at altitudes ranging from 3 m to 10 m above the ground,[8] but it could potentially cover a maximum distance of about 600 m (2,000 ft) per flight.[9] It will use autonomous control and communicate with the Perseverance rover directly after each landing

Imagine having to start from scratch. On a new planet..
That's what I don't get. To start over from scratch and can't even survive outside. Even if we could, it's just a damn dustbowl.

That is amazing.
I can't believe some of you libs on here aren't pissing and moaning about spending money on space instead of blowing it on social programs.
Science is awesome.

Good point. Of course you also can’t breathe up there either.

Shouldn't there be something connected to the rover that is extending out of the frame of view indicating that rover is taking a picture of itself?
Was this picture taken by one of the other rovers up there?
Maybe it's just too early in the morning for me to absorb all this awesomeness.

Probably because the guy's reflection in the lens is the person taking the photo. Its a bald guy taking a photo.

I love the Mars landers but I’d like to see NASA diversify the landers a bit. Send some to Europa, Callisto, Io, and Ganymede. Give Mercury a go. Take another crack at Venus. Land another on Titan. Send one out to Triton. Also, put a microphone on the darn things. They did that for the polar lander that crapped out. I’d like to hear the wind on Mars. Just sayin’, that’s all.
