Im excited but you gotta remember.
Another Boring NASA Launch
Is from one of the most fondly remembered and quoted Simpsons episodes. And space exploration has been downhill for the public even as we make more and more discoveries at faster paces.

The way the space program operates is so interesting to me. You’d really have to love routine to be an astronaut. They could sit in the cockpit strapped in for a couple hours doing all the safety checks and there’s a 50% chance they could scrub the launch and have to do it all over again another day.

Cars have arrived at the launch pad.

This goes right in a few hours, Elon Musk wont have to do anything else to be in the history books.

I think they said up to 4 months potentially.

Behnken and Hurley could spend anywhere from one month to 119 days at the International Space Station, but the exact duration of their mission won't be determined until they are already in orbit, NASA officials said in a mission briefing on Friday (May 1). So, they could be returning to Earth at the end of June or as late as Sept. 23.
