I had a 206 bowling average when I was 15, but gave it up when I got my license. I wanted to burn the roads and chase girls instead

Dead shot with a rifle.
Started with a BB gun at age 5.
Pellet gun when I was big enough to pump one.
Then the .22 at about 10 and so on to big rifles.

There was an episode of some tv show in the 70’s where a guy was trying to beat the world record for placing coins near his elbow and then snatching them in mid-air. Maybe it was Happy Days - who knows? Anyway, I practiced and practiced the trick until I could catch the number that was portrayed as the record on the fictional tv show - somewhere in the low 40s. Once I did it, I quit.

This was before the internet would be avaialable to verify what the score actually was. I assumed it was much more than they said on tv. Plus, I used pennies and I think those are verboten.
