I didn't even mention the cost of living

Gas, housing, taxes, groceries, housing, everything is more expensive here. Gas is still over $4 a gallon for me

My taxes get to go to wonderful things like healthcare for illegals, while the roads are full of cracks and potholes.

Local Radio Host was slamming San Diego residents last week saying that SDG&E(power provider) electricity rates are going to be 6x the national average. He was angry that so many are just sitting back and taking it. He asked "What would you do if gas all of sudden 6x the national average? How is this any different?"

If we're assuming employment isn't an issue, Cannon Beach, Oregon.

Bozeman is growing rapidly. It’s bound in by mountains on three sides, but the west, is all open for development. It’s expected to be the size of Colorado Springs by 2040.

It’s losing, and maybe lost, that old Montana flavor already though. On the other hand, the restaurants are getting pretty decent.

Big Sky is also exploding, thanks to Cross Harbor Capital, and all the money they’ve dumped into the area.

For now though, it still has a high density of dirt bags.

Two northern entries. Minneapolis/St. Paul and Madison, WI. There is so much to do in the Twin Cities it is awesome. Madison is a fantastic place.

Yes, winter. I know you southern boys don't like the snow and the cold but I love it. The diversity in seasons is great and fall is the absolute best season of the year. Winter is fun if you are into winter sports and activities. Hockey, ice fishing, snowmobiling. You just need to be someone who embraces it.

Winter keeps the riff raff out too. It's hard to be homeless in below zero temps.

That’s a nice area. I’m a little bit north of you. Glad y’all like it up this way, bro.

I know a few people who live there, all very solid citizens with political philosophies somewhere between Donald Trump and Benito Mussolini.

Awesome spot but I couldn't deal with the summer crowds.

you don’t know about their Somalian issue?
One of my favorite cities to visit. But the winters are insane. One of my really good friends grew up there and preferred life down south simply because he got tired of winter for 8 months a year.

I'd live in Bellingham, WA too. I think I've named 3 already though so I'm breaking the rules.

I'm not really a big city guy anymore at this point. Someplace that size has everything I need.

Nothing wrong with Larose, I grew up there. Never went back when I got out the service.

I agree with the people that said Scottsdale and Park City. Two excellent, beautiful cities too.
