My son punched another kid at daycare

He’s only 15 months old and what the teacher says he only acted in self defense. He was playing with a toy and another kid tried to take it from him. That when my son punched him. The other kid is known as bully there and I guess my son had enough of his shite 
I have to say that I’m very proud of him but is it wrong to feel that way?

He’s 15 months old. Sweet move, but let’s not pretend he just knocked out the school bully in any way other than instinct.

At 15 months he is using his most basic, primal instincts. Sorry, nothing to be proud or upset about. To him, he is literally just trying to survive his day.

Sounds like the teachers arent doing their jobs and allowing kids to become bullies forcing other kids to take action into their own hands.

No, it's not wrong for you to feel that way. And it's not like you can really talk to a 15 month old about it either. Keep an eye on it I guess? There's nothing wrong with finishing something imo, just don't start it.
