Boo Krewe, you telling me you work in the area and do not know the ongoing plans for EPCOT? You need to talk to your manager about your training. I agree EPCOT has lagged behind the advances in the other parks, but renovations are clearly underway. Current plans are Guardian of the Galaxy rollercoaster, new fine dining Japanese restaurant, Ratatouille experience in France, and a host of other changes. Finally, with the new Skyliner connecting EPCOT and Hollywood Studios, getting between those two parks will be pretty slick.
Plus what the others have always said about being able to get a drink and relax a bit.
We are finishing up a quick trip here now, and did not hit the countries, but we did stop over for test track and mission space while the wife and daughter saw Anna and Elsa. Easy few hours and done.

If you go in October they have all those countries. October in International Food and Wine Festival month.

That’s when we went, for Halloween and we also did the not so scary mickeys halloween trick or treat costume party after they close down Magic Kingdom and you can buy tickets to re enter the park at night and go around trick or treating.

There is alcohol to be had in The Magic Kingdom. That’s my point. Everyone seems to understand that except for you. I know this because I do it twice a year. And I'll be doing it over the next five days while I'm at Disney.
