We ran motion in high school and we had a thing when we were up and killing time where our coach would call a number and that was how many passes we had to make before a shot could be taken. The bench would count it out for us. Shoot before the number and you get pulled.

May be another possibility for you.

And with those two guards... I'd play their backups even if we get smoked. Make a point early in the season. Your job is not guaranteed. I'd rather lose with the less talented guy giving a shite than the prima donna half-assing it.

They are playing their mandatory quarter and that's it the first week.

And the passing rule will work well.

It certainly helped

One kid hit three huge 3s to bring us within striking distance.

Floppy, Pistol Pete hair flowing in the wind, day-old stamp from the bar, and last night's whiskey seeping out of your pores.

The glory days, kids. The glory days...

St. Gen had a recent big kid transfer from Cathedral. Don't know if he plays basketball.

Didn't go to school in Laffy, but I am keen on the cryptic name drops, and respectful of maintaining anonymity for everyone.

He plays basketball and he is every bit as big as you've heard. Has pretty decent touch for his size, too.

Don't know if we are talking about the same kid. The one I know, his dad is big, played some college ball. Known this family for about 7 yrs. He was big as a 7 yr old (both parents are big people), and then shot up in the recent year. Sound familiar to you?

I don't know the history of the kid or his family, but he is noticeably bigger and taller than everyone his age. I'm 6'3 and he looked me in the eye.

He's left-handed...

have you ever been in the lane? Do you even know it feels like to be inside the three-point arc?

Let's start with the baby steps first.
