It was new, different, and unexpected... of course a 6 year old is going to respond that way. Don't act like it's some inherent trait that even kids know that homosexuality is wrong. Do you think an adopted 6 year old of a same sex couple would react the same as your kid? No, but he sure as hell has the same odds of growing up to be straight.
I am n to trying to suppose how any other child in any other situation would react. I can only speak to how my kid reacted to it the first time he saw it. I'm sorry if his reaction doe not fit your worldview.

I remember a time when it was controversial to show a black male and a white woman kiss on TV. There were lots of instances of that during the Draft, too. It gets filed under "normal behavior" at some point.
I don't want to see men kiss on TV. I don't think it has to be shoved down my throat; it's okay, America, I accept that people are homosexual and I'm okay with it. In fact, I really don't give a shite. Stop making everyone have to be okay with it.
