if 13% of the population is black then 13% of LSU should be black?

Well in Louisiana this number would be significantly higher.

When my oldest graduated from Alabama, they had one (1) ceremony and I had to sit through 2300 walks across the stage (and my kid was at the end of the alphabet). I literally wanted to kill myself.
Dunno when that was, but they have 5 ceremonies now.

The max they can put on that floor is about 1200. How do I know that? Because the kid you're there to watch walk across the stage was 4th from the last. You have a lot of time to count rows and seats in that case. They had 1125 for that one with a little room to spare.

I’m sure you would be happy to sit in an auditorium for 3 hours to NOT hear your kids name called because of some clowns. It doesn’t matter what color they are, it’s just shitty rude behavior

People have the right to their opinions and people have the right to question those same opinions when they are unfounded. Trigger :off:

e exuberant, especially the black folks. Not really gonna judge them. They are proud. For some of them, this may be the first degree in the family.

There was a stat that I saw a few years back that 40 or so percent of black grads are the first to do so.

Weird. Even Iowa State has everything separate. One big one in the football stadium, but individual college ones elsewhere.

They most likely had the same set up. Based on OP's last paragraph he is obviously not very bright. Cut him some slack though because he has 2 daughters who went to Bama and LSU, no telling how many STDs and morning after pills have been run through them.

In the 2016 spring commencement at Bama, not all of the graduates could fit on the floor. I did not count them, but I know that my kid and about a hundred or so (?) others were filling in several rows of seats on the side of the coliseum. I don't know what that means in terms of the total number. But it was way more than a single college.

ETA: So yeah, the 2300 was an inaccurate estimate intended to convey "a shitload."

The air horn scared the shite out of me yesterday, everyone in our area was pissed off about that, it was retarded. The man keept on it for literally 20 seconds.

But it was a nice well performed graduation in all aspects, no issues with anything. LSU did a great job. They made it as smooth as possible, made sure it was in and out in a reasonable time

You give a pass to the over-exuberant black folks when they demonstrate their pride but you feel as though the white dude with the air-horn should've been removed from the facility and roughed up. Was he not demonstrating his pride for his child's accomplishment? Who the f*** are you to decide what degree of pride is acceptable? Seems like someone here has white guilt. Did your ancestors own slaves?
Someone help me understand why people that demand/want to be treated equal... cannot act equal and then complain when they are treated differently?

A feel good thread about graduation turns into a racial shitshow with a little Bama hate thrown in for good measure. Never change, OT.

I love the way some racist fricks have an issue with black kids graduating, but cheer on a 70% black football team.

They epitome of retardedness

I think they have more of an issue with the WAY they graduate, or anyone for that matter who acts like an a-hole at a large public gathering. This isn’t a complicated issue, just don’t act like an a-hole in public. If there was a large group of white people with mullets and lynyrd skynrd shirts blowing air horns and being obnoxious you don’t think people would be telling those rednecks to shut up?

It’s not about race, it’s about appropriate public behavior and respect

ETA I’m a skynyrd fan

Maybe they’re not racist since they cheer a 70% black team
