I'm all about classic and traditional names. Too many women name their kids cutesy names...not thinking that what sounds cute for a little kid is gonna sound fricking horrible when that kid grows up.

Owen is fine.

If you go with one of the others, it should be maximum trashy. Aighden or Aighsley.

That is exactly what happens.

People pick names that are “cute for a baby” but are fricking abysmal for an adult.

Take Aisley for example. What adult male would want the name Aisley?

I agree with Cosmo. Name your kid something respectable like Robert, William, Henry, etc. Their names won't look retarded on resumes in a couple of decades.

For real though...I hear the name Brayden and I picture the kid looking like this...

This is one thing the OT actually understates. A girl from my HS class is an elementary school teacher and posted a pic of some crafts thing on her wall with her students on snapchat. Multiple Aidens, diffent Pailiegh/Haileigh type names, a Jaxston, etc. White people are in a crisis.

I like to go different, but still real names that just aren't super common.

Which is fine as well imo. You didn't try to invent a whole new spelling of your son's name to showcase how "unique" you are are either.

I was hoping you'd see the Jaxon/Emersyn. That is 1000% real. We are having kids day next week and this guy who seems like a cokehead, well, that is his kids' names. God bless them.

if you let your wife bully you into those names, imagine how emasculated you are on a day to day basis.
