Coming from someone who has had very close relatives and friends who were drug addicts. They are only a day away from going back into the life. Most who claim that they have gotten clean are lying. I wonder what she would say if he asked her to do a drug test? Test her hair and they can tell the truth about how long that she has been clean. Blood test her to see if she has any VD in her. If everything comes back clean then he could carry on with a serious relationship. If she refuses, good bye Felecia.

I don't think he is judging her. I think he is playing the odds. Most strippers have some serious character flaws. These flaws are compounded by the bad behavior learned in a dubious occupation.
Percentages say run. She still has plenty of issues he is unaware of. It is just who she is. How much retirement money does she have put away? She knows she needs some, and I am guessing OP's buddy has some.

Right? All of the posts calling this guy judgmental and a hypocrite are pretty funny. Where is it ok to draw a line in the sand when choosing a mate if you can't draw the old "I'm not dating a former whore" line?

If your buddy is in his 50's he probably doesn't have much room to be picky. He's getting to the age where he should look past some things so that he does not die alone.

Here's my take; she obviously prayed and asked God to be forgiven, which he did immediately. Not only did God forgive her, he forgot about it. Your friend, is putting himself above God when he can't put it behind him, and forget about her past, ( which she willingly shared with him). I have heard it said before, and I would share this with him. Christians are the ones who kill their wounded.
