I dunno they bought them and they are comfortable. I wore pants all the time but hey man kids are weird.

Kind of missed your questions but why would they be allowed I don’t know. They allow pretty much everything as long as girls fingers laying down don’t touch skin and not too many holes in their jeans.

It's funny they'll let cheerleaders cheer at games in slutty clothing but they won't let them wear slutty clothing to school.
It's also funny that our jr high has normal dress codes for school, but the principal, who is attractive, wears extremely short shorts while she runs up and down the road (lives near me) and runs around the gym in short shorts during the summer while various clubs have practice like football, band, cheerleaders, etc.

Senior year of HS, I had PE for first hour.
I would park my car in the spots behind the gym about 2 minutes before the tardy bell ring and walk in.
For the first week of school I would wake up and put on my PE clothes and drive to school and walk straight into the gym. Uniform clothes in my gym bag.
One morning, some teacher saw me drive up, and got out my car with my PE clothes already on. She got all mad and complained to my PE teacher (football coach that DGAF) about the rules and blah blah.
PE teacher told me I couldn’t show up to school already in my PE clothes because it’s not apart of our uniform policy, and told me that made no sense at all, but rules were the rules.

major violation there! when I used to pick up my son from hs before he started driving I used to have to look around(like Red in Buxton in Shawshank,) to make sure no one would see me looking at the girls coming out of school and accuse me of being Chester the Molester, I'd seen (or at least heard of,) more conservative "first song " attire at strip clubs, no dress code at all apparently
