One of my law school classmates died about 10 years ago at a young age. I still get LinkedIn alerts wishing Kara a happy work anniversary. It’s like a punch and n the gut.

I pity people like that.
My parents are long gone. My dad's cell number is still in my phone and will always be.
When I see it, it makes me happy, because I will remember something we did or shared.
This person is way too fixated her own grief, and needs serious counseling. It's not like she's getting reminders of the ex-husband who cheated on her and left the family for a Denny's hostess.
