My mom had me pack a snack every time she had an outpatient procedure so she wouldn’t have to wait for them to bring her one. She’d eat her snack, drink something, go to the bathroom and act super chatty to the recovery nurse. She intentionally checked all the boxes so she could get out of there and smoke. Never remembered the conversations.

My dad past a couple of years ago. But he was a expert on finding cars for sale from a little old lady that only drove it to church. This was before every car had all the expensive sensors and crap. He found a car that was ten years old that only had a couple of thousand miles on it.
