So I'm guessing my dry cleaners went out of business because everytime I've gone over the past 2 weeks, it's been closed. I left a note on the door but it was ripped off. The number has been disconnected. No signs of life...

Got some suits and fiancé's dress for an upcoming engagement party. Anyone know of a legal solution? Thought about calling the police, but I don't know what they could do.

Do you have a small asian girl you adopted to slide through the dropoff shoot?

Birmingham. Yeah, I've been doing business with them for a while. The owner was old, could have died...

Which one? Take a hammer or a brick to the window and go find your stuff.

If it's a rented unit in a strip mall, contact the building owner.
FYI, if you decide to get a small Asian to do the job, go Japanese for the smaller feet.

Got a local news station that does "news on your side" stories? Maybe they could help out, as you are probably not the only one who has clothes trapped.

They didn't go on vacation or something, did they? I know my Vietnamese tailor shop closes down for a few weeks when they leave town, but they usually tell you ahead of time & have notes on the door saying when they'll be back.

I would have called the cops by now. I'm sure they can find a home address and phone number. If it's in a lease space contact the landlord.
