did you see this drunk arse?

I think that's suit that he runs the crescent city classic in every year.

Some years they also post a video of him earing a helmet and getting the absolute shite knocked out of him by like a whole float throwing at him.

Just thought I'd share
You observations are correct and we had a blast this year and it was more comfortable especially off Bourbon Street. Also, it is truly amazing that the French Quarter is like a giant electromagnet that attract chicks with tattoos.

4. Police drones

Interested in what drones they were using. Pretty sure they would have to obtain a waiver from the FAA and the city to fly over a crowd.

CSB thanks for sharing and glad you had fun. I didn't know that they had finished the street repairs/paving yet.

I'm assuming you didn't get murdered on the way to your car then yea?

Perfect weather, smaller crowds, and scantily clad women. Some were even halfway attractive. All in all, a picture perfect Mardi Gras day.

I have a video of one. . . but work wifi is too crappy to upload videos now

It might have just been a civilian drone just filming footage and my inebriated self just imagined it was for police duty, seems like a good use of one

I haven't been to Mardi Gras in New Orleans in years, but when I have, sure it was crowded, but not nearly as bad as some people on here make it out to be. For the most part, everyone is in good spirits having a good time. You might see some drunk fools get into it or something, but if you don't let trivial shite get you all bent out of shape, it really isn't bad.

It seemed there was less actual foot patrol presence of NOPD

There is always plain clothes cops hanging out in that area. Wait until a fight or incident breaks out and that bum you see sitting on the sidewalk jumps up and kicks arse.

There were quite a few cops in the ER investigating stabbings and gun shot wounds
