What would be the best spot for a fairly large (think hogs size without the cooking teams) outdoor music festival in between Baton Rouge and Mandeville?

1. What spot would be hilarious

2. What spot would be really cool

3. What spot could you actually make see happening?

Sounds trashy, so it would have to be somewhere in Livingston Parish

A music festival in the incarnation capital. Sound like a great time.

I don't think any spots would be "hilarious"

That was because this being the OT, I expected half the first page to be “north baton rouge”, “plank road”, and “El Cid”. I figured, why fight it?

Didn’t they try this in BR on the river and it fell through?

We half arse looked into this several years ago for the AP area to possibly promote and advertise for local musicians / bands to have a day to showcase themselves. It became evident that it would be a money pit and its hard to get vendors on board unless you have really good contacts. Just some information to be aware of as you try to plan this out.

As far as location, if you found somewhere like the BR fairgrounds that could handle a fairly large crowd with parking that would be ideal depending on the time of year. Indoors is another option, but depending on budget or expected crowd, this may be unattainable.
