If they kill one a day, that's 365 a year...365 less NBR and/or Gardere residents, sounds like a win to me.
Folks who kill in BR don’t live in a vacuum.

Not that I know specifically about murder but generally once you do something taboo, it becomes less taboo for you to repeat.

Point being, unless stopped killers will generally continue to kill more folks and those folks may not be the folks you want them to “eliminate”.

Could be you or your’s.

PS: BR is descending into shithole-ness.

What BR needs is someone who relates to the taxpayer and someone who can easily do what Giuliani did in NYC 25 years ago.

Lock people up for missing court dates. Fine them at the least. Go after people who rob or burglarize. Lock them up for 10 years. Lock up parents whose kids are truant. Throw the book at illegal handgun owners. Start with the small shite. Murders and attempted murders never see the light. Crime will go down.

Get rid of the terrible leadership we have at the top. But you cannot throw some dope like Carter or an E Guarantee in the position of leading the charge for the taxpayers.

A quadruple shooting on Plank Rd, resulting in a homicide, not surprising.

The Toulon Dr homicide seems rare for that area between Coursey and Sherwood.

When I was a kid the Central library was like a 1200 Sq ft white building. Looked like a gas station with the pumps removed

I have so many memories of going to that place as a child and young teen. I used to read A LOT. One summer, I read the summer reading list and won a ride on the Samuel Clemons paddle wheel boat. It expired though and I never got to go.

I read every Hardy Boys book written before 1990 or so. That Central library…hadn’t thought that place in 39 years or so…

Is Sherwood Lakes still a nice area? I haven’t been in that neighborhood in a long time time but you used to be somebody if you lived in Sherwood Lakes.

Some of those apartments back there between Cedarcrest and Sherwood are pretty shady these days

The neighborhood itself is still pretty nice but just not as desirable due to the surrounding area.

Suge Knight’s little brother is being charged with 1st degree murder and 3 counts of attempted 1st degree murder. Sounds like the victim pulled a gun during an argument, however the dude who committed the homicide went to his car to grab an AK and went to the deceased house where he shot him 8 times, killing him in front of a bunch of kids.

Such a civilized lot.

We’ve got some irreconcilable compatibility issues in this country. Hard to envision anything changing that without a nasty divorce.

See, the deal is, black lives actually do matter. It just doesn't seem like it.

These "incidents" should not be ignored or accepted as "normal".

I think if BR applies itself they can break 200 this year. Stay focused.

Every once in a while our local news shows a vigil after the death of a child. It's a handful of loved ones offering their support.

What number of deaths will it take for the community to have a reaction as large as it had for the death of Alton Sterling?

Are none of these lives at least as valuable as Alton Sterling?
