Very true and against the law in Louisiana. I've almost hit a few while doing 35 mph or less in the right lane during heavy rain conditions on the interstate.

My strategy in really bad weather is to follow, at as safe distance as possible, an 18 wheeler going slow, knowing I can stop faster than them. And, hoping that some speeding idiot doesn't run up my arse.

Sad times for those that lost loved ones today.

I know it is a bit different, but instead of smoke+fog being smog, we now have it as SUPERFOG on the local news.

He pays people a lot of money to do his marketing.

You don’t think he’s actually sitting in his office making these commercial decisions?

He’s probably in North Carolina watching the leaves change

I have zero doubt he knew of the decision and ok'd it

Today would’ve been a good day for him to tell them to run one of the other 100 commercials.

One of the kids at our school running for student council used Gordan's slogan and won. The kid wanted to make some repairs to the playground basketball area. Gordon filmed a video congratulating the kid and talked about what he was trying to do and that he would send a donation. Pretty cool of him.

Of course he okay’d it. But he gives that power to someone else.

He can “okay it”’via text from anywhere in the world

That dude isn’t sitting in is office planning his next commercial

He also could’ve sent a text saying “don’t run the fog commercial today”.

No driver and passenger of that box truck are two of the seven who died.

quote:

Witnesses had reported two deaths from a box truck that slid underneath an 18-wheeler, but an exact count, the number of injuries or vehicles involved in the mile-long series of wrecks were unknown for most of the day.

Go back to manual shifts and cars that shimmy at 65 mph too. People will pay attention.

My strategy is to have an 18 wheeler a safe distance behind me. At least if someone crashes into him, there's 80k lbs of shite behind me to absorb it.

Nobody was driving 85 in that fog

When I came through this morning I was doing about 65 with the flow of traffic. This was northbound.

Couple of jackasses just past the manchac bridge driving sub 50. That’s what I figured happened here.

It's the way to go once it starts getting slow and you know hes at least half arse paying attention. Big brakes and inertia are your friends in car wrecks.

I feel silly stating the obvious, but what if you run into a pile up and he doesn't notice or hit the breaks?
