It’s because this billing cycle was 5 days longer than usual :eyeroll:
Entergy CEO list of excuses
The PSC that “serves” New Orleans and Baton Rouge isn’t meeting until February 24th so you can expect your next bill to be high as well.
Who am I kidding? The PSC isn’t going to do shite and we’re still going to get robbed.

Does anyone know what kind of meters they're using? Entergy, or any utility for that meter, does not manufacturer their own meters.

I opted out. Seems like the right choice for now.

Got it. I'm somewhat familiar with the Alpha series.
These modern meters aren't easy to tamper with. But if you have real concerns about a mismatch, get a Sense, Neurio, etc. home energy meter and compare.

That’s probably my favorite of the ridiculous explanations Entergy is giving people.

This. Every time he has a decent candidate against him, people still vote for him. He’s locked in unfortunately until he dies. We all pay the consequences.

I had a new meter installed last month and my bill is ridiculously higher now.

tbh with new technology you just use lithium ion batteries for the storage with solar. its something i install, bigedlsu@yahoo.com if youre interested and want big discounts.
and it tracks your energy flow into and out of the house, meter, etc so you can audit the utility yourself with certified equipment fwiw

I pay more per month because I refused it.

Do you have a meter that you can put a magnet on the back to slow it down?
They upgraded out meters years ago because people did this. They come check the meters the week after you receive your bill so people would leave the magnet on for 3 weeks and then remove it the week the meter readers came around.
Either way, go check to see if it works for you. You can do your own manipulating of the numbers.

Yet, but the city council can give two fricks about people's thousand dollar water bills...
Ironic huh?

If you can squeeze a big enough system on and get a battery or two you can basically go off grid.
Its just highly dependent on the house, location, terrain, consumption, etc.

I know you didn't direct this at me, but I've worked with every one of the major manufactures and I think the PW2 and forthcoming PW3 are the best on the market. Sonnen is pretty sweet too, but I think Tesla has the best all around product.

Even though you have to pair it with their mediocre inverter? FYI, there a certain company that's been buying up all the PW inventory. You can get it but have to be a dealer.
